I have been employed as a full-time instructor with Houston Community College since 2000. Originally I am from West Virginia, and I attended West Virginia University and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Master's Degree in Spanish and TESOL. After living in South Carolina for four years and teaching high school, I moved to Houston in 1998 where I taught at Channelview High School before securing a full-time position with the college. Currently, I teach Spanish, English as a Second Language, and teacher education courses at Houston Community College. I sometimes teach high school classes part-time at the new East Early College High School that is in partnership with Houston Community College. In addition, I am a licensed Realtor.
