EDUC 1301 Introduction to Education This course is designed to help individuals decide whether teaching could be a satisfying career for them. Information concerning the role of education and educators, teacher preparation programs, effective teaching, employability, and rewards and challenges of teaching is presented.
EDUC 1325 Multiculural Education An examination of cultural diversity found in society and reflected in the classroom. Topics will include the study of major cultures and their influence on lifestyle, behavior, learning, intercultural communication and teaching, as well as psychosocial stressors encountered by diverse cultural groups.
